During that time, she began cultivating her voice as a songwriter, a passion she continues to pursue whenever she can—crafting songs that reflect both vulnerability and strength.

Now based in New Orleans, Jeanne-Marie is an active performer across the city’s vibrant music scene. She is especially known for her jazz performances, breathing new life into beloved standards with both trio and full-band settings. Her versatility also extends into pop, blues, and soul where she brings a unique blend of technical mastery and heartfelt artistry. Alongside her solo career, she is a featured vocalist with several acclaimed ensembles, including the Shim Sham Band and the Nola Dukes, while continuing to perform classical repertoire at weddings, sacred services, and special events.

In addition to her performance career, Jeanne-Marie maintains a private teaching studio, offering voice and music lessons that reflect her wide-ranging experience as both a classical or contemporary vocalist.
